Globally climate change mitigation efforts are increasing through the use of cap and trade carbon markets. The European Union and regions within the United States have functional cap and trade systems with Australia planning to introduce a trading system in 2010. This talk provides an introduction to Kyoto complainant cap and trade systems, voluntary markets, and carbon reduction projects.
