Primary Industries: Responding to Climate Change

Climate change remains controversial but is a critical topic to agriculture and forestry, not just for the adoption of strategies to adapt to risks such as drought, but also to understand tactics for greenhouse gas reductions.

To help inform the academics, students, and the agricultural community on climate change impacts and adaptation, issues that are so close to the “bottom line of the future”, a symposium on climate change has been organised for 6-8 PM on 22 October by the Victorian Division of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology (AIAST), the Victorian Department of Primary Industries (DPI), the Crawford Fund, and the University of Melbourne.

The DPI, the University of Melbourne, and other organizations are undertaking key R&D to prepare agriculture and forestry for climate change, and we have drawn our speakers from some of these leading experts, as shown below.

    Finally, I found this information about the climate change. It took me time just to find it. I really want to know it. Thanks for the time and effort. I hope to read your next post.
