Tim Jarvis is an environmental scientist, explorer and author who has undertaken unsupported expeditions to some of the world’s most remote regions, including the South and North Poles. He holds the world record for the fastest unsupported journey to the South Pole and the longest unsupported journey in Antarctica. In this seminar, Tim will relate first-hand an account of his expeditions to the North and South Poles, with observations concerning climate change impacts upon these remote locations. A slideshow presentation of spectacular visual and graphic images will be used to support his presentation.
