This year’s NAC regional meetings will continue with a focus on one of ALIA’s 2010 priorities – Lobbying and Advocacy.
The topics for this year’s program for the regional meetings include:
Lobbying and Advocacy: working together to make a difference
Review of the outcomes of the 2008 topic – Staying Smart in a complicated world: Professional Development
Local issues
Members are encouraged to read the ALIA Planning Consultation 2010 paper, submissions and make comments at a regional meeting. Comments can also be made via our online submission form or by emailing us on planning at alia.org.au.nospam (please remove ‘.nospam’ from address).
In 2009 ALIA will continue with the two-tier model for the National Advisory Congress (NAC). All regional meetings are invited to select someone from the meeting to attend the national gathering of the ALIA NAC. The national meeting will be held via teleconference.
