SciVal functionality update

Elsevier have expanded the Overview Module’s functionality:

• Import an overview of local and international top publications
• Probe and report on international vs national collaborations
• Add an “Overall Research Performance” pie chart to visually report on research activity.

SciVal is a web-based strategic analysis tool based on Scopus publication citation data. SciVal offers a view of research performance and collaboration opportunities from a variety of perspectives.

University of Melbourne staff and students can access SciVal via the Library catalogue.
