Announcing the winners of the Visualise Your Thesis 2018 award

The judges agonised over their decision, but the winners are:
 

1st Prize – Marianne Mueller ‘Antipsychotic Medication and Longitudinal Brain Imaging in First Episode Psychosis’ (Centre for Youth Mental Health, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences) 

2nd Prize – Hugh Gundlach ‘Nature and Nurture – What schools need to know about retaining teachers’ (Melbourne Graduate School of Education) 

3rd Prize – Hannah Kelly ‘Nanoparticle Interactions with the Immune System’ (Department of Microbiology and Immunology, School of Biomedical Sciences) 

Special Commendation – Jessica Tang ‘Beating glaucoma with better monitoring’ (Department of Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences) 

Viewer’s Choice – Sarah Moneer ‘How do we process multiple sources of visual information?’ (Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences)
 

Congratulations to all. The web gallery can be viewed at https://library.unimelb.edu.au/research/researcher@library-week-2018/eposter-competition-2018-gallery and will be updated in the days to come to reflect the competition results. The video loop is still being showcased in the Digital Studio in Arts West (west wing) so you still have a chance to visit in person.

After local competitions conclude around the country we will create the National Showcase page – so watch this space.
