Please see below details of disruptions to water services taking place this weekend (Sunday, 11 October 2009 to Monday, 12 October 2009).
Union House – Theatre (ONLY). No water to sprinklers from 6am, Sunday, 11 October 2009 until 12noon (approximately 6 hours).
University House – No water to building from 6am Sunday, 11 October 2009 until 12 noon (approximately 6 hours).
Baldwin Spencer – No water to building from 6am Sunday, 11 October 2009 until 8am, Monday 12 October 2009.
LFR – No water to building from 6am Sunday, 11 October 2009 until 12 noon (approximately 6 hours).
Botany (both Botany and Botany North) – No water to buildings from 6am Sunday, 11 October until 12 noon (approximately 6 hours).

Please be advised that as of Monday 5 October 2009 Traffic Management will be altered in Tin Alley.
All deliveries for Student Union and Union House will have to enter via Royal Parade. Royal Parade will become a 2 way street.
All traffic coming in via Swanston Street will travel down Tin Alley and do a loop back around down Union Road, Masson Road and Spencer Street and out again via Swanston.
There will be NO parking available in Tin Alley.
This traffic management sequence will be in place for approximately 2 weeks.

Please be advised that works on the Fire Ring Main will be commencing in Tin Alley as of Monday, 24 August 2009.
Traffic Management and signage will be in place.
Further details will be issued shortly via email and this blog.
Tin Alley will remain open to traffic, however diversions will be in place in areas, as the work progresses. Deliveries to Union House will not be affected.

Asphalting work on Union Road, Masson Road and Spencer Road will be taking place on Monday, 3 August 2009.
This work will commence at 6am and be complete by 4pm on this day.

Works will start at the Masson Road end and make their way up toward Tin Alley.
Spencer Road will be closed to vehicular traffic (traffic will be diverted down Tin Alley). Traffic Management and adequate signage will be in place.

Please be advised that the Fire Ring Main works scheduled for Tin Alley have been postponed until after the week of Open Day activities occurring in mid August 2009.

Please be advised that the walkway that runs from Monash Road to Masson Way between the Chemistry building (bldg 154) and Old Geology (bldgs 155 & 156) will be closed to all traffic from Wednesday 31 June 2009 until approximately Sunday, 19 July 2009.
