CHPPE Seminar 11-Aug-09: Findings Hospital Management in NTUH (National Taiwan University Hospital) and NH (Northern Health)

Ching-Fen Chen graduated from the National Taiwan University with a Master of Science in Public Health, in 1994. Ching-Fen is an honorary staff member of the CHPPE and is currently undertaking research training at Melbourne University.

In order to enhance operation performance, some hospitals have already introduced various kinds of managed tools, such as strategic plan in Northern health, and Balance Scored Card in NTUH.This topic will report how the two hospitals execute hospital management to enhance operation performance.
Hospital management is an important issue and a good research topic now and in the future. Economic evaluation, policy evaluation, epidemiology, and statistic method can evaluate the benefit of implementing various kinds of managed tools in hospitals.
