This seminar is relevant to academic staff and students who want to update their skills in systematic review literature searching, or indeed people doing any kind of literature search using electronic databases. It will provide an introduction to database selection, subject systems for keyword selection, dealing with ambiguity in search terms, mechanics of advanced searching and exporting to reference management software. The presentation will conclude with a brief overview of pros and cons of competing reference management systems such Endnote, Refworks and Papers.
