David Silkoff: PhD Candidate, Centre for Health Equity
There is minimal research about the ethical challenges that health practitioners experience within specialist work with people who have complex substance use problems. Existing guidance which is available to practitioners is extremely limited, yet the ethical challenges facing practitioners can be very complex. This presentation will describe a project within empirical ethics. The qualitative project will collaborate with practitioners, to understand the challenges that they confront, and to develop resources to support practice.
