MSPGH Seminar: 28th Sept 2016 – Malawi: the Warm Heart of Africa Part 2

12.30-1.30pm, Wed 28th September 2016
Seminar Room 515, Level 5, 207 Bouverie Street, Carlton

Professor Professor Rob Moodie AM, Professor of Public Health and MPH Tutor, Malawi College of Medicine’s School of Public Health and Family Medicine; and Professor of Public Health, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, The University of Melbourne

Rob had always thought he could sneak through life without having to “do” detail. He was always big picture. Alas he’s tripped up in the back straight in his role as the MPH tutor (aka sheep dog), in the Malawi College of Medicine’s Master of Public Health program in Blantyre, the second city (or the Melbourne) of Malawi. He has just begun an ambitious 10 year plan to help revolutionise essential leadership and management skills in the health sector in Malawi.
