The Center for Healthy Communities in Oregon, USA, is focused upon improving health and well-being among tribal peoples in the northwestern United States and beyond.  Our Center collaborates closely with a local tribal organization, Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board and its 43 member tribes in three states. We will update the audience on several health promotion/disease prevention programs that we have implemented with the Board and with the tribes in efforts to improve health among tribal members.
