Japan has a high suicide rate compared to other developed countries. The suicide rate has fallen recently, but other issues remain such as work-related depression. This seminar discusses mental health data in Japan, introduces policy measures related to mental health in the workplace, and Miho Kaneko’s perspectives on preventative care in Japan.
