VicHealth calls for a National Charter for Health

This issues paper, authored by Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth) Chief Executive Officer Todd Harper and Professor Brian Oldenburg, Research Director, Australian Institute of Health Policy Studies and Chair of International Public Health, School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University, proposes a National Charter for Health Promotion. The proposed Charter supports a stronger focus on effective health promotion and prevention, and has the potential to be an important new development in Australian health promotion work.
