My name is Xing Gu (古星). I was a research fellow of the School of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Melbourne from Nov.2017 to Jan. 2020. My mentor was Professor Christian Haesemeyer.
Currently I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Max-Planck Institute for Mathematics, Bonn, Germany. My new website is under construction.
My research interests are algebraic topology and homotopy theory.
Here is my cv.

I am the organizer of the graduate topology seminar of semester 1, 2019.
My current research interests are
(1) the topological period-index problem, and
(2) algebraic invariants of the classifying space/stack of the projective linear group PGL_n.
