About
23 Research Things is an online learning programme for graduate and academic researchers at the University of Melbourne, showcasing resources, strategies and tools that support research. 23 Research Things can provide you with frameworks for your research practice, new platforms for you to experiment with, and different ways of working. Blogs are written by University experts including academics, librarians, data scientists and research support professionals. Whatever your career stage or discipline, the programme aims to help you develop a strategic approach to managing your research.
The next iteration of 23 Research Things will be released in August 2023. Sign up to the mailing list to receive updates in your inbox and make sure you never miss a post.
23 Research Things was originally launched in March 2014 as a series of weekly posts for all members of the University of Melbourne. Responding to popular demand, 23 Research Things returned in 2017 and 2020 to showcase even more resources for research. 23 Research Things is an initiative of the University of Melbourne Library and was inspired by the Bodleian Library’s 23 Things for Research and the DH23 Things programme at the University of Cambridge.
