The African Students Outreach Program and the African Mental Health Group are thrilled to invite you to an exciting event filled with African board and card games, a thrilling futsal tournament, and a celebration of culture and community! Event Highlights:

1. African Board and Card Games at Social Space A
Get ready for an engaging session of traditional African board and card games including Mancala/Oware, Draught/Checker, Ludo, and more. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to these games, we welcome you to join us. If you have any African board or card games you’d like to share, please bring them along. Not familiar with the games? No worries—experts will be on hand to teach you the rules and ensure you have a fantastic time!

2. Futsal Tournament on the East Hockey Pitch
Lace up your soccer shoes for an exhilarating futsal tournament! We’ll be hosting matches between students, staff, and youth from the African community on the East Hockey Pitch at the Unimelb Sports Complex. Register individually, and we’ll form teams for you. All game gear will be provided, but remember to wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for playing. Every player on the winning team will receive a medal. This event is open to all genders, and no prior futsal experience is required.
