Separated by a Common Language: Awareness of Term Usage Differences Between Languages and Disciplines in Biopreparedness.

The aim of this work was to initiate an appreciation of terms and definitions in relation to biosafety, biosecurity, and bioterrorism preparedness and to make policymakers aware of the pitfalls associated with common linguistic and conceptual assumptions.
