Mangrove planters were designed (Reef Design Lab) to stabilise sediments and attenuate wave energy to facilitate the survival and establishment. These planters have been deployed around Western Port Bay and Port Phillip Bay at Victoria, Australia, as well as at Chek Jawa, Pulau Ubin, Singapore.
