Francisco Gelves-Gomez
Francisco is a PhD student and sessional academic at the School of Social Sciences, The University of the Sunshine Coast, QLD. His main academic interests lie at the interface between the natural and social sciences. Much of his work is focused on critical aspects of biodiversity conservation and conservation social sciences. He also studies complex socio-ecological systems and the application of these forms of thinking for management and governance of land and sea. His PhD (Geography) research is a more-than-human exploration of adaptive management in protected areas.
