Oliver Miltenberger

Oliver is a PhD student at the School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences and the Climate-Energy College. His background is in landscape ecology and protected area planning with particular emphasis on international development. His PhD work focuses on the development of policy and finance mechanisms that enable large-scale ecosystem services markets. Focal areas include conservation biology, voluntary and compliance carbon trading, greenhouse gas & co-benefit accounting, and management of working lands. His work is oriented towards achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and valuing non-traditional economies.
