Elaine Wong was invited to the inaugural WILab panel session on “Technology to Reinvigorate Melbourne” with Lord Mayor of Melbourne Sally Capp, Prof. Thas Nirmalathas (FEIT), Simon Young (Cisco) and Nikos Katinakis (Telstra).

Elaine Wong shared the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology‘s experience in targeted recruitment at the University of Melbourne‘s International Women’s Day 2021 signature event on “Building gender diversity in non-traditional disciplines” along with Prof. Aleks Owcrawek (UoM Science), Prof. Julie Willis (UoM ABP), and Prof. Fiona Jenkins (ANU), and introduced by UoM Vice Chancellor Prof. Duncan Maskell.
