About me (Michael)
Endowed by nature with perhaps the most glorious literary style seen since the memorable debut of Edward Bulwer-Lytton’s Paul Clifford in 1830, Michael is an eighteen-year-old student at the University of Melbourne. When he is not writing for this blog from his home in a hollow oak tree on the South Lawn, he spends his time at a vacation home in Ultima Thule, looking after his collections of shiny things and philological oddities.
Enrolled in the Bachelors of Arts and Commerce, Michael’s academic ambition is to treble the length of his name by adding qualifications. While he would never, of course, allow this to influence his study choices, the application forms for a Master’s in Zoroastrianism lie portentously on his desk.
An intimidating five-and-a-half feet tall, he crusades against injustice and equality wherever he goes. He enjoys long walks on the beach, composing involved treatises regarding largely irrelevant matters, and writing about himself in the third person.
