Sitting on the floor of the Spot eating a cold croissant and a hot coffee. (Victoria)

Call me crazy but I actually prefer my coffee cold. Well, cool. I’m not even talking iced coffee I just like all my coffee with mostly milk. It’s more refreshing than a hot drink. Β Also, everyone knows croissants are better hot and buttery but I cbf giving instruction to the cafe so it’s really my own fault.

I think today will mark my first class-skipping as a university student (actually, maybe even as a student at all. I chucked sickies for sure, but never properly wagged). I came to campus early to send emails an refine assignments before submission this afternoon, but then I didn’t have the email address I needed and ended up doing nothing so I’ll spend lunchtime doing it instead.Β Do you remember my last post when I had enough days to do ALL THE STUDY before the number one came home? Yeah, she turned up at my house 10.30pm Saturday and my uni work went nowhere from there.

On the plus side, the cute guy served me at the bank πŸ˜‰

  1. This was before the creative writing lecture yeah? I was sitting there too! In the centre of the spot foyer with a friend – we were probably right across from eachother, haha! πŸ™‚
I know exactly what you mean by the delay in doing assignments, time always flies on the holidays, but at least the poetry is over and done with by this arvo!

  2. Haha, yeah, I was sitting on the floor outside the Basement while writing this. I’d forgotten you were even in Creative until I read your post right before it.

  3. I know what you mean, similar to you I like my idea a bit better than how it reads as a poem! In the end 40 lines didn’t seem long enough, it was a bit tricky cutting it all down to fit. But hopefully we did well πŸ™‚ Creative non-fiction should be good!
