From Terrified to Terrific: Share your best and worst bits of the week!

Well, I have finished classes for Week One and am feeling delightful, delicious and even delovely.

I did have a wonderfully amusing post all completed, went to hit “Publish” and my computer decided to go die in a hole. The draft has simply been dismissed by the producers of Cyberland and I cannot find it anywhere. So, now I am shitty at the computer and can’t be stuffed remembering the perfect piece of prose I created only moments ago.

So, this brief post will inform you of my best bit and worst bit of the week. Share your best bits! (NOTE: The term “bits” does not refer to the anatomy of the body)

Best: So, I’m loving Uni. It’s just awesome. I have completely inspiring lecturers and have adored all my classes so far.

Worst: Navigating the University Bookshop (I mean, what’s with THAT!?), and still finding they have sold out of half my booklist.

So, Mystery Readers, your mission is to enlighten us all of your best and worst bit of the week and, with any luck, hilarity will ensure. Luckily for me, it has.

Have a brilliant weekend, beautiful people, and I shall blog you all next week (nothing dirty implied).

I remain, humbly yours,

Laura

  1. Best: French Intermediate A… I love the fact that the whole subject is tought in tutorials, I really dislike the fact that lectures are so impersonal.

Worst: You could have guessed it from my previous sentence, but I have found it really hard to actually get used to the whole lecture feeling. I mean, I like being the learning environment of a small class of students, but I guess I should just get used to it…

Just a word on the bookshop, I always find it quite unnerving to leave my bags in those cubby holes since anyone can just take my bag and leave… Just had to voice that concern

Also glad to hear you are enjoying your subjects… Have a good second week!
