Estoy estresado!
I feel like i’m finally getting into the swing of things. This claim will of course be tested when I actually start working on one of the three assignments I have due, but hey! At least it feels good.
The last two weeks have been pretty insane. My best friend has been visiting from Perth so it’s been generally crazy- also, my boyfriend and I broke up, so it’s been somewhat of an emotional rollercoaster since then. I dropped a subject and have decided to do only three, because I just don’t feel like a full-time load is a good idea at this point in time. To be honest, living arrangements are pretty awkward/scary now. Said boyfriend has moved out to live with his mother for a while, so I’m stuck in the house with my other two housemates, neither of which seem to like me very much. Hopefully I might be able to score a job that can raise enough capital to pay up the rest of my lease here and allow me to move somewhere else for a bit.
I schlepped lazily into Spanish this morning wearing a ridiculously large shirt after spending most of the night in Ivanhoe with my friend Spencer, being a photographic subject for his film thing, and then lugging the INCREDIBLY HEAVY AND CUMBERSOME equipment back to RMIT in the morning. Spanish is so great. ¡OJO!
Creative writing is awesome, too. Now that I’ve dropped history, I feel a lot happier about my subjects in general. Hey, it might take a little longer to complete the degree, but it was bound to happen any way.
Ps: Guys- I doubt I’d be enthused enough to attend a blogger meetup if there was one…. but have any of you actually met up with a whole bunch of people from the internet in real life before? It’s generally ridiculously awkward.
