Join us online or in person, for an opportunity to engage with Associate Professor Carolyn Ee, an Academic GP with a PhD in women’s health and a Bachelor of Applied Science – Chinese Medicine. Her ground-breaking work bridges a gap between biomedical practices and evidence-based traditional / complementary therapies.

Associate Professor Ee brings a wealth of clinical knowledge to her research. Her clinical and research interests include women’s health and cancer survivorship, where she explores the potential of integrative approaches to improve patient outcomes. She has led numerous clinical trials investigating the efficacy of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and lifestyle interventions in managing various health conditions.
Carolyn led the co-design and establishment of Australia’s first university-based integrative healthcare centre at Western Sydney University. She is the incoming Director of PC4, a national Primary Care Collaborative Cancer Clinical Trials Group, and serves on several national committees. She was Chair of the RACGP Integrative Medicine Specific Interests Group from 2017 – 2024 and led the development of the RACGP’s Recognition of Extended Skills in Integrative Medicine.
