Today Freya joined us to talk about her work that is at the science–policy interface. Some points raised were:

 

  • Working with policy makers can be really rewarding, but it takes time investment to build relationships

 

  • Research in science can influence policy through indirect means as well as direct (i.e. commissioned) work
