New publication – Comedy and masculine hegemony: Adapting masculinities in humorous children’s fiction

In his new article in Children’s Literature in Education, Troy Potter examines how humour and masculinity are not simply entwined in four comedic series targeted to male readers, but also how the represented masculine dynamics and role of comedy has adapted in response to our changing understanding of acceptable masculine behaviours.
