In addition to resources aimed at developing research capability, this page will highlight resources relating to professional development (including that outside of academia) and mental health and wellbeing. - Ready to Research
If you are new to the Faculty, there are resources available to you to help you hit the ground running. The Faculty's Research Development Team have developed a guide, Ready to Research, that enables researchers to quickly access pertinent research related services and resources available at the University of Melbourne. The team also provide support in the areas of Research Strategy, Research Analytics & Reporting, Research Initiatives and Collaboration and Funding. - Professional Development
The Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education (Melbourne CSHE) offers a range of University of Melbourne courses to enhance teaching, research and leadership skills, as well as professional development programs aimed at developing academic careers and specific skill sets. - Health and Wellbeing
Maintaining your health and wellbeing is incredibly important. The network would like to develop this page into a space that informs ECRs of local resources available to support their wellbeing and mental health in academia. If there are resources you think would be helpful, please drop us an email. The university currently provides programs and services aimed at supporting all University of Melbourne staff.
