Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) conversation
On Thursday, 12 October 2023, the MEM student committee hosted an exclusive conversation about Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) with Prof. Emeritus Colin Duffield from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Prof. Duffield is a recognised global leader in efficiently procuring public infrastructure and integrating private-sector financing and innovation to maximize whole-of-life value for money. He has advisory roles to the Victorian, Australian, and Indonesian governments on PPPs and infrastructure procurement.
The event provided an opportunity to gain a better appreciation and understanding of PPP concepts, principles, and applications. As PPPs have been gaining traction as an innovative approach to delivering critical infrastructure and are reshaping the traditional model of public service delivery, this conversation was a valuable experience for all attendees.
