The Thomson Reuters IP and Science highly cited researcher 2016 has now been announced and the Persson lab was indicated as one of the top cited labs in the world.
Jacqueline Nowak, a new PhD student shared with Zoran Nikoloski at MPI-MP, and Ghazanfar Khan, a new Postdoc, joined the lab in Sep and Nov, respectively. Khan did his PhD in the lab of Yves Poirier at the University of Lausanne and is on a Swiss National fellowship, and Jacqueline did her master at University of Potsdam. Welcome!

ARC announced several major grant outcomes today and the Persson lab was awarded funding in both the DECRA and FT schemes; Heather was successful in getting a prestigious DECRA grant and Staffan was awarded a Future Fellowship. Yay!
