Europeana / Valentine Charles seminar

The University of Melbourne Library is excited to be hosting a visit from Valentine Charles, Data Research & Development Cooodinator from the Europeana Foundation, on Friday 12 February 2016.

Europeana is an online portal that contains over 23 million digitised objects from Europe’s museums, libraries, archives and audiovisual sources. It connects to Europe’s cultural heritage by providing access to items from over 2,000 heritage collections. http://www.europeana.eu/portal/

Come and hear Valentine speak about various aspects of her work: data modelling, data quality, and data re-use. She will also introduce the newly launched Europeana Research, a service dedicated to a digital humanities audience. All welcome.
