MS Word for your Thesis: Training for graduate reseachers
The University of Melbourne Graduate Student Association (GSA) has organised a series of workshops to help graduate researchers master the use of MS Word for their theses. There are two components to the course Word for Thesis: ‘Setting up your Template’ and ‘Practical Skills’. The template session is intended as a bridging course for those who are just starting out using Word for their thesis, and is ideal for those who are not confident using Word. More confident users of Word can attend the practical skills session only. Several classes have been scheduled across the year: for more information, dates, and booking details, see the GSA workshops page, which also includes courses on Excel, NVivo and SPSS.
