ePoster Competition Workshop. Keep it short, sharp and to the point: Working with text

Researcher Logo 2016The ability to present your research in a succinct, imaginative and accessible way is a vital skill for any researcher these days. Both within Academia and in the outside world if you can captivate an audience in a matter of minutes, half the battle is won. The ePoster is one such challenge. This workshop will look at maximising the impact of your text in the very limited space that an ePoster allows. Bring pen and paper or laptop/smart phone for writing exercise purposes. This session is for University of Melbourne graduate researchers and is aimed to support participants in the Researcher@Library Week ePoster competition.

Presenter: Simon Clews (Director, Melbourne Engagement Lab, Melbourne CSHE)

Thursday 28 July 2016, 10am-12pm. Room G01, Elisabeth Murdoch Building, Parkville (map). Book here.
