From big data to bold data: the University’s emerging digital and data strategy.

Professor Liz Sonenberg, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Digital & Data, and Assyl Haidar, Director, Digital & Data, Chancellery, will open the University of Melbourne’s Information Awareness Month activities with an introduction to the University’s evolving focus in the data and digital domains. The University needs to be bold to gain the greatest advantage from its position as an information rich organisation. Being bold requires clarity of purpose, confidence built on understanding of risk and opportunity, and the capability to act ethically in an increasingly complex technical and social environment. Hear from the team that is leading development of the University’s approach.
