Mendeley for Beginners
This online session will introduce you to the basics of using the Mendeley reference management program.
By the end of the webinar you will be able to:
- Recognize the capabilities and limitations of reference management software
- Understand the features of Mendeley and the differences between Mendeley desktop and Mendeley web
- Add references to your Mendeley library using a range of techniques
- Use Mendeley to insert citations and format a bibliography in Word
EndNote for Beginners
This online session will introduce you to the basics of using the EndNote reference management program.
By the end of the webinar you will be able to:
- Recognize the capabilities and limitations of reference management software
- Navigate important features of the EndNote interface
- Create an Endnote library and add references using a range of techniques
- Use EndNote to insert citations and format a bibliography in Word using your preferred referencing style
Zotero for Beginners
This online session will introduce you to the basics of using the Zotero reference management program.
By the end of the webinar you will be able to:
- Recognize the capabilities and limitations of reference management software download the program, connectors and plugins
- Navigate important features of the Zotero interface
- Add references to your Zotero library using a range of techniques sync an online account with your desktop
- Use Zotero to insert citations and format a bibliography in Word and Google Docs using your preferred referencing style
EndNote for Collaboration
This webinar will take you through using Endnote Online to collaborate on research and writing.
The session will take you through the basics of setting up researcher groups, sharing references and using MS Word to write collaboratively. You should already be able to use Endnote, as this webinar assumes a working knowledge.
By the end of the webinar you will be able to:
- Create shared groups add and share references
- Understand how to use Endnote Online with Word to write collaboratively
Zotero for Collaboration
Wednesday 7th October 1pm – 1:45pm
This webinar will take you through using Zotero to collaborate on research and writing.The session will take you through the basics of setting up researcher groups, sharing references and using MS Word and Google Docs to write collaboratively.
