UpSkills: Getting Started with Library Research

The first Library UpSkills class of 2015 will be held on Thursday 12 February and is aimed at newly-enrolled research higher-degree students. Further sessions will be scheduled regularly over subsequent weeks.

This session will help you to find the research databases in your subject area and will look more closely at some of the major citation databases. The session will also provide an introduction to structuring successful search strategies to locate quality research literature and will suggest some effective techniques for managing your information and for keeping your literature search up-to-date.
