Managing Data@ Melbourne: workshop for STEMM Researchers
Thursday 25th May: 1:00pm to 2:30pm
Baillieu Library, Dulcie Hollyock Room.
Researchers accumulate data as part of their research practice. This data can take a variety of forms: biological samples, patient record data, computational data, algorithms, observations, notes, interviews, images, surveys, and much more. Good research data management planning keeps your data secure, allows you to find and access it easily, and can verify research outcomes. It also supports your future research by enabling you and others to share and reuse your data.
In this session, you will learn how you can effectively manage your research data and explore some of the services available at the University that can help. The session provides an opportunity to discuss your project with data management experts.
To get the most out of this workshop we recommend that participants complete the Managing Data @Melbourne program.
