The Researcher@Library training program is now live. Sessions for July and August include:

Sign up for Reference Management Semester 2 Sessions
The library offers Zotero and EndNote Reference Management training for researchers at UoM. For semester two both online and in-person options will run for the beginner sessions. Please also note that the online sessions will be recorded this semester and made available to registrants the following week.

Reference Management Software Update: EndNote 2025
EndNote 2025 is now available via Re:cite for staff and students to download to their personal computers.
New to using EndNote? Check out the series of short videos to get you started or register for a beginners session, webinar or face-to-face.
Changes to EBSCO databases: take action before 15 July to transition your saved items and alerts
The EBSCO platform will now be moving to a new user interface on the 15th July 2025. EBSCO hosts many of the Library’s ebooks and databases including MEDLINE, ERIC and Academic Search Complete. This update offers enhanced search functionality, but you may need to take steps to transition your saved items.

Visualise Your Thesis
VYT challenges graduate researchers at any stage of their candidature to present their projects in a 60-second, eye-catching, video. It’s a great way to showcase your research impact, learn digital communication skills and win cash prizes!
Video submissions close 15 July 2025.

Three Minute Thesis
3MT is more than just a competition. It is an opportunity to hone your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and succinctly to a non-specialist audience. These skills are highly valued in both academic and non-academic careers. Engaging in 3MT demonstrates your capability to effectively disseminate research findings, engage diverse audiences, and think on your feet—abilities that are crucial for professional success in any field.
Registration is open until 8 August 2025.
