Case Studies: Solving researcher problems using data management
The University of Melbourne has a significant number of high value collections spanning multiple disciplines and faculties.
Two of those collections have undergone a major digital transformation over the last two years as they crossed the divide from physical to digital preservation. What started out as a digital preservation journey evolved into a sophisticated preservation, presentation and ongoing data management capability, leveraging Research Platform Services data management tools underpinned by NCRIS funded Melbourne University infrastructure.
