Chariot is an undergraduate history journal at the University of Melbourne, created by and for students. The journal provides a space for students to engage with history in their own way, publishing online and in print.
Online submissions are always open. We consider essays, commentaries, reviews, and creative pieces (including short fiction, poetry and visual art) written by undergraduate students of the University of Melbourne. Students do not need to be studying history, but the piece submitted must be related to the topic of history in some way.
For article submissions, pitches or any enquiries, send us an email. Written work should be under 2,000 words and submitted with an accompanying bibliography where appropriate. Footnotes are not necessary for essays. Further information can be found on our website and Facebook.
