The Bloomberg Data for Health Initiative (D4H) is jointly funded by Bloomberg Philanthropies and the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s InnovationXchange. The University of Melbourne is Technical Lead on the Initiative and is providing technical interventions that will improve public health data (particularly mortality data) in 19 low to middle income countries so that governments and public health leaders are equipped with the tools and systems to collect and use those data to prioritize health challenges, develop policies, deploy resources, and measure success.
