As we walk through the gallery, we will explore the sensory delights of clay* in our hands and transform a shapeless mound into a unique response.
Hand a ball of clay to young people when they enter the gallery entrance. They have the freedom to make/mould in response through experiential play as they walk in the gallery.
This guided walk in the Carbon exhibition includes a clay play experience to connect with your creativity and scicuriosity. The therapeutic and meditative qualities of clay will be explored, as the Carbon mediators guide you through the sensory realm of SGB.
Mediator note: the clay becomes a medium for their physiological responses to walking within the exhibition and a manifestation of their own thoughts *eliminates need for articulation
