Professor Kenneth B. Crozier

Kenneth Crozier is Professor of Physics and Electronic Engineering. This is joint appointment between the School of Physics and the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Prior to joining the University of Melbourne, Kenneth Crozier was an Associate Professor in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University. He received his MSEE and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. In 2008, he was a recipient of a CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation (USA) and a Loeb Chair at Harvard, an endowed position for junior faculty. In 2014, he was awarded an Innovation Fellowship from VESKI (Victorian Endowment of Science, Knowledge and Innovation) and an Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellowship on his return to Australia.

Dr Jiajun Meng

Jiajun received his M.E. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and his PhD from the University of Melbourne. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electronic and Information Science and Technology from Fudan University (China). Jiajun’s PhD thesis was entitled “Optical microspectrometers and chemical classifiers based on silicon nanowires, plasmonic metasurfaces and machine learning”.

Dr Yang Xu

Yang completed her B. Sc. degree at Shanxi University (China). She completed her M. Sc. and PhD degrees at the University of Melbourne, in the School of Chemistry. Her PhD thesis was entitled “Investigating Photo-luminescent Materials with Advanced Micro-spectroscopic Methods”. Yang is jointly supervised by Prof Ann Roberts and Ken Crozier.

Jinyuan received his B. Sc. and M. Eng. degrees from the University of Melbourne. These were in the field of electrical and electronic engineering.

Mr Yiyang Cui

Yiyang received his B. Sc. and M. Eng. degrees from the University of Melbourne. These were in the field of electrical and electronic engineering.

Mr Dayantha Lankanath Karunasena Danthure Arachchige

Dayantha received his B. Sc. in Electronics, Mathematics and Mathematical Modelling from Wayamba University (Sri Lanka). He received a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University (UK). He received a Master of Engineering in Electronic Science and Technology from Xi’An Jiaotong University (China).

Mr Sudhanshu Kumawat

Sudhanshu received his B. Sc. degree from the Central University of Rajasthan (India) and his M.Sc degree in Physics from IIT-Delhi.

Mr Seyed Saleh Mousavi Khaleghi

Seyed received his B.Sc. in Electrical and Communications Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology (Iran). He received his M.Sc. in Microwave and Applied Electromagnetics from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic, Iran). His MSc project was entitled ” Investigation, Simulation and Design Tunneling of Electromagnetic Energy in transmission-line loaded with ENZ Metamaterial.”

Mr Damian Nelson

Damian received his B. Sc. and M. Eng. degrees from the University of Melbourne. These were in the field of mechanical engineering. After graduation, he was staff member at the Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG).

Mr Benjamin Russell

Ben received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from the University of Melbourne. His MSc thesis was entitled “All-Dielectric Metasurfaces for Broadband Infrared Spectral Reconstruction”.

Ms Maryam Setareh

Maryam received her B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering- Electronics from the University of Tabriz (Iran). She received her M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering- Micro and Nano Devices from Amirkabir University of Technology (Iran).

Ms Srishti Srishti

Srishti received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics from Hansraj College, University of Delhi (India). She received her M. Tech. in Applied Optics from IIT-Delhi.
