SCOPUS – new journal metric: Impact per Publication (IPP)

Scopus

Scopus’ new journal metric Impact per Publication (IPP) measures the ratio of citations per article published. IPP provides an additional metric for comparing and evaluating journals and may be useful for authors deciding where to publish.

Scopus users can access the IPP metric from the Compare journals tool and elsewhere in the Scopus database. University of Melbourne staff and students can access Scopus here.
