Software with temporarily extended licenses

An update on software licences available to University of Melbourne students. To support our transition to a virtual campus, many software publishers have extended their access for personal devices to allow students to continue their studies remotely. Software that previously required students to visit a Student IT helpdesk is now available online.The Student IT team have updated their software page on the Student IT website.

The range of software with changed licensing conditions includes:

• Stata
• SPSS
• SAS
• Sketchup Pro (ABP students)
• Adobe Creative Cloud

The Student IT webpage has the latest information and installation guides, with online troubleshooting available for students from the Student IT team.

University of Melbourne staff should view the list of centrally-funded software on the Staff Hub, with staff support available from the Staff Services Portal.
