Join the Visualise Your Thesis Competition – Upcoming skills workshops & info sessions

It’s on! Visualise Your Thesis returns to the University of Melbourne for 2020.

Research students have a chance to win over $1,000 in prizes and gain international recognition for their research. Our local competition launched on June 30, 2020 during the recent digital tools and research skills program, Researcher Connect 2020.

What is Visualise Your Thesis?

It’s an international competition which challenges graduate researchers to present their research in a 60 second, eye-catching digital display. Using a pre-supplied template, entrants are tasked with developing a striking looped presentation to encapsulate their research projects in short, engaging, digital narratives.

Participating in this competition is one way of developing essential digital communication skills to effectively convey complex research to a general audience. It takes the amazing research of the world’s brightest and best graduate researchers and catapults it into the digital age.
