Does your research require ethics approval? Introducing Infonetica ERM

The new Infonetica Ethics Review Manager (ERM) system is now live for researchers to create and submit new human research ethics applications. Researchers no longer have access to Themis Human Ethics Workbench.

You may notice that no projects are listed in your ‘Work Area’ in Infonetica ERM, as inflight applications in Themis will be available in the new system after 2 November.

Historical/completed applications in Themis will not be available in Infonetica ERM. If you need a copy, please call the Service Centre on (03) 8344 0888, or call the Research Helpline on (03) 8344 0999.

To find out more about Infonetica ERM, watch the training video or refer to the learning support resources on the Research Gateway.

If you have any human research ethics related queries, please send an email to HumanEthics-Enquiries@unimelb.edu.au.

From 28 October to 2 December, further training sessions will be offered over five days, covering the new human ethics application process, including how to use Infonetica ERM to submit applications. You will also learn about the new human ethics committee structures and meeting schedules.
