Better the DEVL you know: Digital tools for Humanities and Social Science research

The Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) Data Enhanced Virtual Laboratory (DEVL) brings together fragmented data, tools and services into a shared workspace (https://tinker.edu.au). This session will introduce basic concepts of using digital tools in humanities and introduce the capabilities of Tinker. Participants will learn how to analyse text data, how to visualise aspects of data, and will be encouraged to experiment using their own data in the virtual laboratory.

This session is relevant to PhD candidates, early career and established researchers from the Humanities and Social Sciences.

By the end of the workshop you will:

Date and time: Wednesday 22 May 2019 1.15pm-2.15pm.
